They took us completely by surprise, but the arrival of the Moonsetter I-Litter (or iLitter) was welcomed this morning beginning at 8:48 AM. By 11:15 AM all 8 puppies were here, 3 boys and 5 girls. Regan handled every puppy like a seasoned veteran, and our job turned out to be sitting back and watching her bring them into the world. As you can see, she made quick work of it too!Liam the Dacshie was troubled by all the commotion and noises from the whelping box, and would occasionally jump up to peek inside and make sure Regan was okay. Regan wasn't the least bit daunted by the intrusion, and at one point we turned our backs to find Liam in the whelping box checking out the pups warming in the nest! A tribute to a good-tempered Gordon and an ever-curious Dachshund!
